A note from the founder
Why I built this
Clients don't buy hours. They buy progress. The artifacts we have — timesheets, GitHub histories, weekly status notes — are built for us, not for them.
Timesheets prove you were there. GitHub proves you committed. Neither answers the question a client actually has: what changed this week, and what does it mean for the work they hired you to do?
Stop proving hours. Show what you shipped.
I got tired of translating a week of pull requests into an email that still sounded like an internal changelog. ShipRecap is the layer I wanted in between: take the work you already shipped, write it in language a client can use, let you edit it, then publish a page you can send.
It is early. The core loop already works — GitHub to draft to edit to a shareable report. The agency layer (scheduled delivery, branding, workspaces) is still ahead, and it is labeled that way. Founding members are the people shaping what comes next, and they keep the $9 founding price while their subscription stays active.
If that is how you already work with clients, I would like you in.
